Site Visit 24.06.13

 All existing ironmongery reviewed on site- revised schedule to be issued. Digilocks in general to be disabled where key operated lock also present- to make compliant with Part B/ Fire strategy.

 Carpet to NW0.06 discussed. Currently down to be retained but now room has been cleared it has revealed lots of staining. Request for pricing to replace to be raised

 Panel damaged to NW0.06. Request for pricing to replace to be raised

 Client sanitary supplies have been removed for decorating. CVA to liaise with client regarding reinstatement/ replacement

 Door ID.15 damage to both faces. Request for pricing to replace to be raised- otherwise filled prior to decoration.

 Existing slab to entry area bowed. BRAC to install water bar/ position door set to align with external cladding
 CVA/ BRAC detail to entry discussed. Instruction still to be raised for modifed ramp with improved drainage and handrail now omitted.

 Softwood bead to panels rotten- CVA to liaise with client regarding replacement

 Fascia decoration underway/ window installation and priming underway

 Underside of water tank to Gents WC exposed- timber to be replaced? CVA to discuss with client

 Cistern replacement? CVA to discuss with client

 Urinal to be cleaned- Action BRAC

Existing high level bracket not removed by client- to be retained to NW0.05

Currently no insulation and lining to Lobby to NW0.08- BRAC suggest remedial works

Site Visit 17.06.13

 Ply panelling delaminating in some areas- CVA to propose additional remedial works to rectify/ BRAC to provide budget costing for measures

 Ditto- decorated timber skirt required

Skirting cover panel requires new softwood cover where rotten

 Existing windows- frames to be replaced under contract

 Fascia panels replaced- awaiting decoration.

 Panel to be repaired

 Additional ply panel can be fixed internally to preserve existing fascia. CVA to forward proposals/ BRAC to provide costs as above
 BRAC suggested lining/ insulating areas of open stud partitioning to external walls. CVA to forward budget cost to school for comment.

 Existing ply panel to Male WC to be removed for investigation as damp/ condensation formed

 All remaining whiteboards/ equipment to be removed prior to decoration. CVA to request client to remove a.s.a.p.

 Client to confirm whiteboard size/ fixing method/ model/ wiring schematic etc. to enable contractor to complete all containment under contract- urgent

Soil pipe/ minimum width of escape to be discussed with AIS. 1050mm required.
